Gate valve A00
Gate valves with bolted bonnet A00, sizes from DN50 to DN300, pressure up to PN320, working temperature up to 350°C.
Application
- Working medium: radioactive water, water steams and all other operating media inside and outside hermetic zones of nuclear power plants.
- Application: nuclear and chemical industry.
- Seismic Resistance I-st class, according to IEC 980, IEEE 382, EN 60068-2-6;
- Class of safety: 2-nd, according to NP-068-05, NP-001-15.
Technical description
- Gate valve А00 has bolted construction.
- Body, bonnet and leading details are made of forgings and rolled steel.
- The seats of body and wedge (disc) are welded on with wear-resistant material.
- Flexible wedge, with material matching the steel body.
- The monolithic stem is made of special high-temperature and acid-resistant steel.
- The bearing of the stem nut is protected by dust collectors.
- The connection is with butt welding type "BW" according to DIN, GOST, ČSN.
- The control of the welded joints is by ultrasonic or X-ray analysis.
- The operation of gate valve A00 is performed by:
- Manual operation: - manual hand wheel for sizes from DN50 to DN100 mm, and those from DN100 to DN300 mm have manual gearbox.
- Electric operation: - with electric actuator according to working conditions requirements and these of the customer. - The tests of gate valve A00 are carried out in accordance with the standards for valves intended for nuclear power plants or according to the working conditions and customer requirements.
- Gate valves A00 can be installed in any position, and for sizes larger than DN200mm it is recommended to install them in a horizontal position. When installing a gate valve equipped with an electric actuator, the manufacturer's installation requirements for the electric actuator must be observed.
- Monolythic stem (spindle) and wedge - strength, stability and wear resistance.
- The stem nut has two bearings and dust collectors - long-term cycle of operation without maintenance and repair.
